Full Time position


Based in Canberra looking after a team of 30 some in regional locations


This role is responsible for managing a team of qualified and dynamic social workers and psychologists. The team is passionate about working with children, young people and their families. It is a diverse role which includes clinical work, oversight of the program and quality management.


The Role


The role has oversight of the Student & Family Counselling Program which includes the school psychologist roles. It includes:

  • Operational and contract management
  • Staff management
  • Quality Assurance & risk management
  • Professional development & supervision
  • Clinical caseload (small)

Ideal person


The ideal person we are looking for has:

  • Tertiary Qualifications as a registered psychologist (AHPRA) or Social Worker (with AASW membership)
  • 3-5 years’ counselling experience working with adolescents, children and families with a range of needs including mental health, trauma and complex needs.
  • Experience in managing a contract and team of clinicians.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor, develop and manage staff


You will also be required to undergo a National Police Check.


To be considered for this role you will be also required to hold:

  • a current drivers licence, and
  • a Working with Vulnerable People Card
