Due to continued growth, we are looking for a School Counsellor to join our team in Young (NSW).
Join a large, dynamic team of psychologists and social workers committed to providing evidence based therapeutic counselling and group work interventions to primary and/or secondary school students and their families within a trauma informed model. Additional critical incident response when required. Potential to gain additional work and skills as an integrated worker, across programs with CatholicCare. Your New Role
As a Student and Family Counsellor you will be an integral part of a school’s pastoral care program and will work with students, families and school staff to build safety, recovery, relationships and resilience for a child / young person’s social, emotional and educational wellbeing. Essentials
Qualifications in Social Work (including eligibility for membership of Australian Association of Social Workers) or registered with AHPRA as a Psychologist.
