NDIS Support Administrator

Part Time position of 20 hours per week

We are currently seeking an NDIS Support Administrator to provide effective administrative and liaison support to NDIS participants receiving direct support through CatholicCare’s CHOICES Services. This role is responsible for working with participants who are not allocated support coordination in their plans but who have chosen CHOICES as their NDIS service provider.


The Role


This position will work with participants and their families/nominees to establish service agreements and monitor NDIS supports. Duties will include:

  • developing personalised budgets in line with NDIA Plans
  • ensuring that supports are delivered in line with these budgets
  • being a contact point for participants, families and their nominees
  • being a contact point for support workers providing direct support
  • using the NDIA Portal to complete and monitor service bookings

Ideal person


The ideal person we are looking for has:

  • Relevant administrative experience preferably within the Disability or Health Sector.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • High computer literacy including word processing and Excel spreadsheet.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to details and a quick learner.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with effective time management skill and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Work, Health & Safety and Confidentiality
You will also be required to undergo a National Police Check.


To be considered for this role you will be also required to hold:

  • a current drivers licence, and
  • a Working with Vulnerable People Card and registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Screening
