We are currently looking to recruit an Aged Care Support Worker who is able to start immediately. This role is suited to someone who has exceptional communication and engagement skills, is friendly, reliable and committed to supporting individuals to live full and connected lives. This flexible role will offer successful applicants the opportunity to deliver a valuable service to people who are ageing in the community. The CHOICES & Aged Care Services are a passionate and supportive team with the shared purpose of delivering services that will improve the lives of those we support.
As a Support Worker with CatholicCare you will be required to work with minimal supervision to provide direct support to people who are ageing and who are living in their own homes. The support provided aims to prevent the premature entry of individuals into residential aged care. The types of support you would be providing include but are not limited to:
