We understand that life can throw various challenges your way especially during and after a natural disaster. It is important to look after yourself and seek professional help when feeling overwhelmed, experiencing ongoing stress and distress as a result of your experience during the bushfires.
The Bushfire Support Counselling program offers a free counselling service to support individuals, families and communities impacted by bushfires. This service will help you and your loved ones to deal with the emotional reactions of disbelief, stress, anxiety and grief. We will work with you to make a plan for moving forward and will offer coping strategies, social supports, counselling and family-based psychological interventions. The program delivers evidence based and trauma informed therapeutic services.
